eg: is there something like option_string below?

brew install ldc --with-shared-libs --with-compiler=dmd

ldc.rb:
  option_string "with-compiler", "which compiler to bootstrap ldc (empty is default)"
  option "with-shared-libs",  "..."

  compiler=option_string["compiler"]
  is_shared_libs = option?"shared-libs"

NOTE: would provide a solution to #1738 (obviously very useful for debugging among other use cases)
