Say you have an tracktype overlay and your coloring details are !tracktype (i.e. color by tracktype only, and auto-select it when editing tags). Second example is a cycleway:surface layer.
When you select a way/node, a bottom-pop-up opens showing the current values of the tags used for coloring. It would be helpful to show additional tags there like surface on the tracktype example if segregated on the cycleway example.
these tags help you to decide if you want to edit w/o opening a potential huge table of tags
and w/o affecting coloring (i.e. tracktype example still has 5 colors only)
and w/o breaking !tracktype (i.e. ! opens tag) feature
Proposed Solution
Provide a additional filter for tags that are shown on the bottom-pop-up but not used for coloring.
