SoundSage Open Source License This license agreement ("Agreement") is established between you ("Contributor") and Gabriel Lacroix, the proprietor ("Project Owner") of the SoundSage project ("Project"). By utilizing, adapting, or distributing the Project, you accept the terms of this Agreement.
The Project Owner provides you with a non-exclusive, royalty-free license, allowing you to use, modify, and distribute the Project without limitations.
Claiming ownership or authorship of the Project is not permitted. However, granting sublicenses to the Project is allowed.
If you decide to contribute to this Project, your contributions will be governed by these terms:
By contributing, you grant to the Project Owner, and recipients of the Project distributed by the Project Owner, a perpetual, non-exclusive, global, royalty-free, and irrevocable license to use, reproduce, create derivative works, publicly display, distribute, and sublicense your contributions and any derivative works in connection with the Project.
You affirm that you have all required rights, licenses, consents, and permissions to grant the licenses in this section. Your contributions are your original works, and if they incorporate third-party works, you have all necessary permissions from those third parties.
A "contributor" refers to any individual or entity contributing material or work to the Project, including modifications or additions.
Every contributor grants a non-exclusive, global, royalty-free patent license under their essential patent claims, for the use, sale, offer for sale, import, modification, and propagation of their contributions.
Your contributions may not be used in the final product, which is entirely at the Project Owner's discretion.
There will be no immediate compensation for your contributions. In case of any monetization, contributors whose contributions are used will be considered for payment under separate terms.
The Project is provided "as is", without any kind of warranty, including but not limited to merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. The authors or copyright holders won't be held responsible for any claim, damages or other liabilities arising from the use of the Project.
The Project Owner won't be held liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, exemplary, or consequential damages arising from the use of the Project, regardless of the theory of liability.
This Agreement remains in effect until terminated. If you violate any term of this Agreement, your rights under this Agreement will automatically cease.
This Agreement is governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which the Project Owner resides. If any part of this Agreement is found unenforceable, the remaining parts will continue in full force and effect.
The "source code" refers to the preferred form of the Project for modifications. "Object code" refers to any non-source form of the Project.
"Propagation" of a work means any action with it that, without permission, would make you directly or secondarily liable for infringement under applicable copyright law. "Conveyance" of a work refers to any kind of propagation that enables other parties to make or receive copies.
You are not required to accept this License to receive or run a copy of the Project. However
