Joomla 4 on PHP8.1

Hi,
I'm in the process of migrating a local government website from Joomla 3.x to Joomla 4.x.

We actively have used FLEXIcontent for a number of years and we would like to continue to do so.

Our instance is currently experiencing this issue (that isn't my question on the forum though):

It bricked the administrator view but it was an easy fix.

My question is, I'd like to contribute any changes directly to FLEXIcontent, if possible where it helps smooth the road for others doing a similar migration. How would you like me to send changes? New branch or other?
