IOS - New Chat - Chat - Nothing happens when tapping on user from the searching list. #12009

Action Performed:

  1. Launch App and login
  2. Tap New Chat from FAB
  3. Enter email e.g. [email protected]
  4. Tap on user

Expected Result:

Chat with [email protected] should be open.

Actual Result:

Nothing happens when tapping on user from the searching list

I'm able to reproduce on my physical iOS device on staging.

Still trying to figure out what's happening here. I can now reproduce locally, but the weird thing is nothing is showing up in the logs - literally nothing, as if it's not even registering the tap (though there is the visual feedback). Soooo... still looking into it.

Okay after investigating with @thienlnam on the latest builds, it seems like this issue is no longer an issue (tried simulator ios, simulator android, desktop, web, and physical ios). If it keeps coming back we can definitely look into it more, but for now closing since it's not consistently reproducible.

(We also looked through the PRs / git blame to confirm that there doesn't seem to be new code that's touching this particular flow)

I was able to reproduce, then restarted the app, and now I'm not, this was like seconds appart.
Not sure how we can try to fix this. and I'm not sure if this is a blocker.
