Indoor use?

I'd like to detect poop within the playpen for my puppy whenever she has done her business. Not sure if the dataset can be used for this indoor use case? The coordinates of the pee tray can be considered fixed so we can target a specific zone as well.

I am currently using home assistant with Frigate.

I think it's very likely it will work. While most of the images are outdoors, the scenes have a lot of variation, which means a network trained on it should learn the appearance of poop and not rely on the background context too much. There are also a few indoor images I've taken when my dog had an accident.

If you want to share any indoor images I'd be happy to add them to the dataset.
