About the PR

right now, the nukie meta heavily favors two builds; juggsuit with eshield & esword, and juggsuit while chinalaking all of security at once. all nukies going juggsuit is also criminal. crew gets steamrolled more or less every single time nukies go for any of these. there was even a loneop i witnessed with both the jugg and chinalake who killed all of sec within like 30 seconds of boarding edge. come on

this PR changes the prices as follows:

ESHIELD
10 --> 18
its just an insane item right now. rather than nerf it, i think it should just cost more.

CHINA-LAKE
25 --> 45
feels like the chinalake is far more dangerous than the L6, similar in power with the borg minus the sustain. with surgery changes now, this is going to be even worse; people are going to be losing limbs and shit. it does the job of like 7 other items by spacing everything, breaking walls, killing everyone, etc.

JUGGSUIT
12 --> 24
say what you will about it slowing you, you are a fucking monster in this thing, it should NOT cost the same as the elite suit. i don't want it nerfed, just more expensive. nukies can afford it! just ideally less of it.

Wow i knew this was coming. called it about 3 weeks ago. anyway these prices are a little bit absurd IMO, eshield was nerfed and doesnt really need adjustment. I actually have a branch where I make the jugsuit cost more which i was planning to PR until i saw this. i feel like 30 is a little overkill, maybe up it to 15-16 and see how meta dominating it still is. as for the china lake 50 is definitely overkill, 32-35 would be a good range.

Sidenote: I was thinking of nerfing the jugsuit heat res so that sec has to use guns to counter nukies, in which case i think 12tc would be a fair price.

They can just use a e-shield to counter that.

as for the china lake 50 is definitely overkill, 32-35 would be a good range.

China lake saved to post nuke arm can easy win the whole round, It being expensive makes sense, it would also remove the classic lone op loadout which is nice.

I think increasing prices by sometimes over DOUBLE seems a bit excessive, especially considering that the average nukie budget is 40 TC per nukert.

maybe up it to 15-16 and see how meta dominating it still is.

I think a smaller adjustment like this is generally preferable instead of overcorrection, 16 Seems fair, jugsuit IS a beast.

it would also remove the classic lone op loadout which is nice.

I very rarely see loneop win, even with this very good loadout. I dont think loneops need a nerf in particular.

having to pool together tc to get really op stuff like borg or china lake is fine

While i do agree that those items are very strong, the proposed changes are a bit overkill. I'd suggest at most 15 TC for eshield, 40 for clake and 20 for jugsuit.

china-lake down to 45, jug down to 24, but i don't think i want to go any lower unless those items get any kind of nerf or adjustment. 18 TC for the eshield is unchanged, i think its VERY reasonable for how strong it is

keep in mind the borg is fucking 65 TC, and the china-lake is like 15 AOE instakills.

borg has infinite ammo l6 saw and double esword. china lake grenades don't actually instakill but with woundmed my opinions have changed, I think China lake should be 40 TC so that 1 nukie can decide that thats their kit for the day.

eshield is really good but 18 seems a bit much, jugsuit being 24 is fine although i would prefer just 20

I have one quick question- Is the jug now 20TC for nukies AND syndies, or just nukies? Since you can price stuff seperately

Alienized the names of the little Ants and swapped their naming scheme. Added a radiation healing and purge mechanic to play into the radiation theme more.
