License Information

Initially we considered MIT and GPL-3.0 as our options. They are both popular licenses for open source projects, but after consideration, we have decided to choose GPL-3.0 as our license. One of the major difference between MIT and GPL-3.0 is that GPL forces more responsibilities to re-distribution of the project. Most of the time, modification must be released under the same license when distributing the licensed material. Also, the changes made to the licensed material must be documented. We thought this fits our purpose better, as it provides stronger copyright.
