Recent analysis of two normal tissue sample revealed that long fixation times affects can have sever downstream effects on variant calling. (figure below: ACC4806A5 vs ACC4806A8 i.e. fresh vs 6-day fixation). This requires a fixed and version controlled set of filters to apply based on input material.
