The most weird thing is when it's fine it's totally fine, totally no noticeable difference from streaming from a physical monitor, I really suspect it's something all we have overlooked, maybe just one option can change everything. But it's already concluded that AMD cpus can suffer from similar problems much more often. |

I recently switched from Sunshine --> Apollo and I'm still getting used to using a virtual display and streaming to Moonlight on Steam Deck. I'm experiencing some micro-stutters and generally lower FPS compared to Sunshine or direct from PC. I'm curious if there are any best practices that may be slightly different compared to using Sunshine + physical monitor mirroring, such as:
-fullscreen vs borderless in-game setting?
-vsync+frame pacing enabled in Moonlight settings and/or vsync enabled in-game?
-RTSS vs NVCP vs in-game FPS limiter?
I know some of this may be different on a game-by-game or device-by-device basis but if anyone has recommendations or experiences on what settings worked best for them I'd be curious to hear!
