I have made an example notebook of how to switch from the cosima_cookbook to the intake catalog. Which section of the repository does this fit in?

As the intake catalog is still under testing / refinement, maybe it goes in Contributed Examples for now?

I would say that - if it's well-documented - it is fine to go in Documented Examples. As long as the documentation explains it is designed as an example of the intake catalogue.
