Description

AWS IoT billing groups is a feature that allows you to organize and manage billing for your IoT devices and services on the AWS platform.

A user wants to organize their IoT devices and services by cost and usage patterns to better understand their AWS bills. They want to group their IoT devices and services by different billing policies, billing periods, and access control. The user wants to perform the following tasks:

  • Create a new billing group: The user wants to create a new billing group for a set of IoT devices and services that share a common cost and usage pattern. They want to name the group, define a billing policy, set a billing period, and assign appropriate access control to the group.

  • Modify an existing billing group: The user wants to modify an existing billing group by changing its name, billing policy, billing period, or access control. They want to ensure that the changes are propagated to all IoT devices and services associated with the group.

  • Delete a billing group: The user wants to delete a billing group that is no longer needed. They want to make sure that the IoT devices and services associated with the group are properly reassigned to another billing group or to the default billing group.

  • View billing reports: The user wants to view billing reports that show the costs and usage patterns of their IoT devices and services across different billing groups. They want to be able to filter and analyze the reports based on different criteria, such as time period, device type, billing policy, or billing period.

Acceptance criteria

  • Have dedicated screens for AWS IoT
