Benefit/Result/Outcome

Providing for the configurations of CC SRG IL5 Compliance would reduce the need for forking the missionlz project when deploying into higher security DISA regulated environments and accelerate their provisioning of those environments.

Description

I expect this would include a parameter that is off by default, but when turned on would automatically deploy resources with dedicated hosts and other needed encryption that is currently not able to be done without making changes directly to the missionlz code. Perhaps this isn't specifically a CC SRG IL5 target as much as a "Higher Security" thing which gets you close and avoids some sort of liability of being directly associated with the regulation, but takes care of getting folks down the road.

Acceptance Criteria

  • Meets DISA Cloud Computing SRG standards for IL5
  • Any additional steps needed beyond the code documented
