Cant run tests with no AVDs online #1

If there are actual android devices and no AVDs attached the launcher script runs 0 tests.
Is this a bug?
Is there any way to run the launcher script with just physical devices?

Note: Launcher script runs fine with devices when there is at least AVD online.
