It should be possible to calculate a loss for multiple images before taking a step and doing other housekeeping operations. That should result in more images/s and stabilize the gradients. This is something Taming 3DGS does.

The functionality to train with multiple image samples after each other is mostly there but doesn't quite work. This should be fixed.
