Cannot See or Use the DBT Core Setup Wizard from the VS Code Status Bar

I can no longer see or access the dbt setup from the status bar to further configure the extension for my dbt project. I could use that feature a couple of days ago, but is no longer present.

Also, I'm not entirely sure from the documentation how you load a project into this extension after initializing and creating the project via command line.
