Use cases for parsing massive amounts of data:

  • Return summed taxonomic distribution of reads at multiple levels (domain, family, etc.)
  • Return summed functional distribution (KOs, Pfam, etc.)
  • Return taxonomy (at given level) x functional distribution (KOs)
  • Return all individual contigs + annotation for a given taxonomic group provided by the user
