This is a @2i2c-org/tech-team sync 🎉🎉🎉! This is a way for 2i2c Team Members to triage work, point out issues that require attention, and make sure we are working well as a team. This issue will be closed at the end of the day.

What I'm up to next ⬜

• I'd like to focus on familiarising myself with the technical details of the pilot-hubs repo and possibly deploy a test/throwaway hub. Any advice on the best place/project to do that is greatly appreciated!

Updates from last week ✔

• I (we) helped with @sgibson91 onboarding process (sorry to all the pings folks... and thanks for helping me!)
• We merged the AWS docs PR: Push preliminary AWS deployment documentation infrastructure#467
  • With that PR we not only closed Document our current AWS infrastrcuture infrastructure#453 but also completed the last item in the Create AWS deployment infrastructure infrastructure#366 deliverable (there are still things to improve but this is a great checkpoint).
• Issue checking/reply and reviews PRs as usual (I think we have Refactor GCP terraform code + add MOEM-IGE hub infrastructure#429 ready)
• Super interesting 2i2c - Pangeo meeting!

What I'm up to next ⬜

• I'd like to focus on EBP - Jupyter Book stuff (finish my experiments with Nikola, maybe fix some issue in JB 😉)
• Further push is some admin stuff (the hard things, you know...)
• Helping other team members as long as I can

My availability for next week

• Not available on Monday (holidays in Argentina, I hear my partner in my back: "you should stop writing now, it is a holiday!").
• The rest of the week available as usual

Updates from last week ✔

• I wrote up a document recommending a new fiscal sponsor (see https://github.com/2i2c-org/meta/issues/203)
• I gave like 4-5 talks and presentations that took (as always) more time than expected :-P

What I'm up to next ⬜

• Digging back into our backlog of organizational issues
• Trying to re-orient myself to our team docs, and looking over the onboarding issue to see if we can find improvements
• Potentially reaching out to a new fiscal sponsor if we approve https://github.com/2i2c-org/meta/issues/203 😬

My availability for next week

• I'm around all week! Though just a reminder that for much of July, I will be in France! Mostly I'll still work normal hours, but might get disrupted during travel etc.
