I've done what the readme says but whenever I open a ruby file it says there are no errors.

I’m very sorry brackets-rubocop isn’t working for you. Thank you for reporting this issue! I don’t regularly use Ruby or Brackets anymore, but I’ll happily review and merge pull requests.
