Reaching github rate limit due to unauthenticated (no GITHUB_TOKEN set) requests

Since a few days, we get errors regarding github API rate limits, as GITHUB_TOKEN is not set. It looks like the requests are done without any GITHUB_TOKEN - means unauthenticated - so the rate limit is very easy to reach (60 per hour per IP).

I saw some token-related PRs in the last weeks, can those have something to do with it?

mise WARN GitHub API returned a 403 Forbidden error. This likely means you have exceeded the rate limit.
mise WARN GITHUB_TOKEN is not set. This means mise is making unauthenticated requests to GitHub which have a lower rate limit.
To increase the rate limit, set the GITHUB_TOKEN environment variable to a GitHub personal access token.
Create a token at https://github.com/settings/tokens and set it as GITHUB_TOKEN in your environment.
You do not need to give this token any scopes.

You can generate one at https://github.com/settings/tokens/new (no need for any permissions) and add it to your rc shell file

export MISE_GITHUB_TOKEN="..."

in each run, there should be an automatic GITHUB_TOKEN - so this is not used anymore and we need to pass MISE_GITHUB_TOKEN explicitly to the mise-action?

Thank you, we now set the MISE_GITHUB_TOKEN to github.token and it seems to work.
