Dear IQ-TREE Developers,

IQ-TREE v3.00 abruptly stopped without leaving any error messages while measuring multi-threading efficiency. This issue was not observed in IQ-TREE v2.4.0. The dataset used was neomorphic (absence/presence) characters extracted from a morphological matrix of Smith et al. (2024). I suspect that the issue may be related to +ASC.

The commands used were as follows:

iqtree3 -s neomorphic.phy -m MFP+ASC -T AUTO -v --prefix iqtree3
iqtree2 -s neomorphic.phy -m MFP+ASC -T AUTO -v --prefix iqtree2

Here is the folder of the analysis.

Thank you for your time and support.
