What is input to compute_contours.sh?

Hi.

Your project seem to be interesting for me and I would like to integrate it into my server. I am already running an OpenStreetMap server for years using Docker. But so far I only used the standard OSM style. No I also want to provide a topographic map. Topographic data is quite new to me and therefore I do not fully understand what the various commands are doing. But I understood that your script compute_contours.sh does most of the magic stuff. However, I do not understand what the input is. You often mention VRT files. So I still do not know what I really need as input. Can you explain that please?
