As a user (of example repos) I want the cmascience python package so have a minimum level of useable functionality, so that it acts as a good enough example, compared to "real" scientific software

To include:

Example scope

  • Create geomorphology proxi climate zones of a country
  • read in station records
  • Find most extreme temperature in each zone

Initial simplified scope to allow a working product to be created

  • UK, or England?
  • Initial variables elevation, distance to sea, distance to urban
  • Year date range 2015 to 2020 (5 yrs)
  • Min temperature only initially

For later consideration

  • Potential later variables, exposure, latitude, urban-rural, landscape cover type
