Any reason why this repository exists? It will be difficult to track if this repository gets out of date with the main cilium repository.

We should try to move stuff out of the main repo instead of growing it further. I see no advantage in having this in the main repo.

With multiple repositories is more difficult, at least for me, to track new issues / PRs that are created.
The advantage is also this guide could be integrated into the official documentation in docs.cilium.io
