Cursor jumps after cutting the selected text

Current Behavior

While editing, if you select text and then cut it with Ctrl+X, the cursor jumps to the last character of the previous block, which is really annoying.

Expected Behavior

After cutting the selected text the cursor is expected to appear right before it like in any other text editor.

Steps To Reproduce

Happens in editors of any tested object types with any object layouts.

My app is downloaded from Flathub:
