can you make a screenshot or record a video for what happened? |
Here, check this old recording, it is the same for me: |
This problem has been solved in the previous version, so I need to know how to reproduce this problem for investigation. Maybe this is a new problem. |
I unfortunately cant help you here, i know it sucks -- I wish i would know what causes it. I usually have this problem with Firefox + trying to connect my wallet on etherscan. I am also using Linux, i did not try it on Windows. The other thing that complicates it even more is that sometimes it works, sometimes it doesnt, and i dont know why. I dont see any errors in the console. My suggestion is just trying to install it on Firefox + Linux OS + trying to connect on different apps (etherscan, uniswap, ...) and see if this happens for you too. |
did you lost focus during connection? |
No, i click on connect and in a span of milliseconds the rabby window opens for a few more milliseconds, then closes again immediately and connection is reset |
I have the same issue with Zen browser (1.9.1b (Firefox 136.0.1) (64-bit)) on Linux. Interestingly, if I immediately hit Alt+Tab right after clicking the Connect Wallet button on a website, causing all browser windows to loose focus, the Rabby popup stays open in the background. And then when I activate the Rabby window, it closes. Feels like the connection is auto-rejected when Rabby HAS focus, and not the other way around. Hope this helps. |
Very similar to this issue (probably even the same):
#908
When trying to connect to a website the popup appears for less than a second and then auto rejects.
I am using Linux, it happens on Firefox and sometimes on Chromium as well. Sometimes it also works on Firefox, I'd say in 2 out of 10 times I am able to connect with Rabby. I dont know the cause of the issue, I dont see any errors in the console.
Firefox version: 134.0.2 (64-bit)
