Software Usage License

1. Definitions

1.1 "Software" refers to the source code, compiled binaries, documentation, and associated materials in this repository.

1.2 "Author" means the original creator(s) of the Software.

1.3 "User" refers to any individual or entity accessing, downloading, or utilizing the Software.

2. License Grant

2.1 Personal and Non-Commercial Use The Author grants Users a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to:

  • Examine the source code.

  • Use the Software for personal, educational, or non-commercial research purposes.

  • Create local copies for personal use.

    2.2 Restricted Commercial Use Commercial use of the Software requires explicit written permission from the Author. This includes, but is not limited to:

  • Integrating the Software into commercial products

  • Selling services based on the Software

  • Using the Software as a core component of a for-profit offering

3. Restrictions

3.1 Users are expressly prohibited from:

  • Redistributing the Software without explicit written authorization.
  • Modifying the Software for public distribution without Author consent.
  • Removing or altering any copyright, trademark, or proprietary notices.
  • Using the Software in any manner that could potentially damage the Author's reputation.

4. Permissions Process

4.1 Individuals or organizations seeking permissions beyond the granted license must:

  • Submit a detailed request to the Author explaining the intended use.
  • Obtain explicit written consent before proceeding.
  • Potentially negotiate licensing terms or compensation.

5. Intellectual Property

5.1 All intellectual property rights in the Software remain exclusively with the Author.

5.2 Any unauthorized use constitutes a violation of this license and may result in legal action.

6. Disclaimer of Warranty

6.1 The Software is provided "as is" without any warranties of performance, merchantability, or fitness for a particular purpose.

6.2 The Author shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from Software usage.

7. Termination

7.1 This license is effective upon Software access and can be terminated by the Author if any terms are violated.

7.2 Upon termination, the User must immediately cease all Software usage and destroy all copies.

8. Governing Law

8.1 This license shall be governed by the laws of Peru that protect author intelectual property (Decreto Legislativo 822), without regard to its conflict of law principles.
