It seems that the determination of whether a bullet is blocked is based on whether there is an obstacle between the muzzle (or the center of the gun) and the shoulder. The following two improvements might be reasonable:

1. Change the check point from the shoulder to the hand (or the nearest limb).
2. If a bullet is blocked, it should be fired from the intersection point between a line parallel to the gun barrel extending from the muzzle and the obstruct, rather than from the position of the shoulder.
