I dont think this is even unintended to be honest, they just don't appreciate being shot and defend the crew against any threats. I for one think its pretty neat and one of the rare occassions where a bot gets actual character.
THAT BEING SAID, it is annoying when they as shown in your video, sprint in front of you then get upset, maybe a higher tolerance before turning against you would be better.
